I have seen a man carrying his blind bull terrier with pink bandana around its neck through West End markets and that scene followed me for days. Bull terrier has always been my favorite dog and I have been drawing it since I was a child, but I have never witnessed a blind one in my life so this was a shocking image for me. Finally I drew that blind dog standing in an empty white space with his eyelids coalesced. Then I drew that same dog with his eyes opened, again in a blank space, as he would dream himself seeing.
