Three Friends Fishing, 2009 (Oil on canvas, 30x25cm)
This is a second time I have done a painting of a small pond surrounded by fishing gear and seats for fishermen. It has something that is so typical for my small format paintings in which I like to depict extractions of landscapes: this indefinite feeling of tranquility of a secluded spot abandoned by humans, but with enough elements for us to fear that this tranquility will soon be upset again.
