This is a painting I finished nearly 3 years ago. It has been dissembled, rolled, put on a British Airways Cargo, was lost for two weeks somewhere on London's Heathrow, finally got here to Brisbane's airport quarantine where it's wooden frame was inspected for maggots, got out of there and back into my hands so I could assemble it and put it here on my wall.
I wanted to share it because of its story, but also because it was a painting in which I defined my own style. In my future posts I will be showing you paintings that have been done here, so you will also be able to see how this style has been influenced by the new environment.
